Remove old mh and replace it with new mh

Mow the lawn

W the lawn

Water the lawn

Rake the lawn

Make s drainage systems are working properly

Store away the lawn mower at the end of the month

Repair any problems in the lawn mower, mhing machine, or tiller

Get ready to plant fall flowers and pla

Use fall fertilizer cooler season grass

Till the soil in y spg plant and flower beds

Turn Perennial pla into mh

Plant Annual pla and flowers

Septer can turn cold quickly, so it is best to get the hardest jobs done quickly at the beginning of the month. This is the season to make s that you h everything you will n the winter months.

Items you may n:

Stg and small posts trees

Covers lawn structs

Rakes, gloves, mhing machine

October

In October, the les will begin to fall in large nurs. If you like to make y own mh, then you will be in luck dug this e of year. Rent or buy a small mhing machine and you will be all set. Making mh is very easy and will s you money.

October can be a beautiful e of year with the many colors and pla that are blooming. You will still h to take care of them as you wd y Perennial pla, but you will be able to let them grow witt ing to worry too much about ws or insects.

When designing y fall lawn, you keep in mind that you will only be able to fix minor grass problems as the ground will become harder as the cold weather settles in. If you h not aerated, you now bee it is too late.

Enjoy y fall lawn now because you will not h too long bee it will be gone. While a winter lawn is also beautiful, it is just not the same.

Nover

With the les almost gone, you will not h to rake as much. Nover is the e when y lawn care will begin to slow down. You will not h as much to do and you will be able to relax and enjoy what you h created.

In Nover, you :

Clean up any clutter on y lawn

Sec all lawn equipment the wintere in a shed or garage

If you still n to repair any lawn equipment, you do so now

Check on smaller shrubs to see if they will n reincement

Dig up bulbs and other ss to plant the spge

Lay down mh if necessary

This is a rt list, but the items on it are important. You complete them because they will help dug the rest of the year.

Decer

Dug Decer, you may not want to h to much do with y lawn. This is understandable. But you go outside and check on pla that are small and may n y help to make it to the spge.

In Decer, you :

Assess all remaining pla, trees, shrubs, and flowers

Reince any pla that are falling over

Make s that pla are safe against the snow

Check on tree branches

Take a good look at the grass

Drainage

Since water and ice can cause cracking in y lawn structs, you keep an eye on those as well. The winter may look peaceful, but in reality, y lawn still ns y care.
